Okay... um... Hear me out.

This is really weird, possibly the weirdest thing I've ever come to think of. I recently was swimming, and just out of curiosity, I began to shuffle and do the running man in the water. Albeit, it was hard.

Now another idea came to me and to introduce it, I'll bring up an exercise method. It's working out underwater, because water is the perfect resistance. I was thinking that if a person could find some weights to weight themselves to the floor of a pool or body of water, shuffling could be possible. It would help develop stronger muscles and such. Only drawback is that you could drown and whatnot.

So your opinions on shuffling underwater? I might upload a video of me in the water, but frankly, this is more for me to "train" in the art of shuffling.

Plus it would look damn funny as hell in 10 years.

Quite a big drawback there.... lol. That does sound like a good idea though. But I agree that you would look extremely stupid

Tried this once when I went swimming.... It's been so long since I've been swimming. :(

Anyway.... It was hard. I couldn't keep my feet glued to the floor. Sure drowning's a big issue, but you can avoid that by practicing on waist deep water.

I've tried this a ton, only problem is the gritty surface giving me an unwanted pedicure. If release a majority of the air from your lungs, you will sink to the bottom (durr), therefore you won't have to worry about floating away!   I too, would like to see a video!

I am also another person whom has tried this and yeah it dosnt work haha, but i guess if you strapped weights to your calves or feet it could work, but the resistance might be a bit to much, i say give it a go and see what happens, just dont die in the process....

Something tells me with weights and the underwater environment you won't get that hardstyle feel of covering a lot of ground XD but as for the resistance part just get grippy shoes. I actually used grippy running shoes when I first began learning to shuffle and I say it paid off well as I got a pair of polos and can shuffle well on most terrains.

I've tried it many times. Shuffling in water is pretty much shuffling in one position. It's sooooooo damn difficult to actually move a tad, lawl.

Haha I was actually trying to shuffle for a bit today while swimming and failed because of well... water resistance.

But if you think about it if you keep shuffling underwater with the water resistance then being able to actually shuffle underwater like you were out of water you be maaaad good :P

Ok gotta get my mind of out of DBZ >D

I do it all the time when I'm at a pool or something ^_^ it's fun as, obviously you can't keep up a very good tempo, but if you stand about chest high in the water then just start going to a beat like electro or even slower, it's fun as :P

Water shuffling, as in 5 ft deep, is pretty challenging. but it can be done. but it makes you look like an idiot. >.<

We have a lot of Indoor Water-Park raves in Alaska. So I've tried this a lot. Problem is, when T-Stepping, You hardly move.
